Why This Fund Is Essential
The true cost of a single adaptive riding lesson at Halleck Creek Ranch is $310, yet most families contribute just $35. Tuition covers only 16% of what it takes to deliver our high-quality programs, which include:
Highly trained adaptive riding instructors
Our exceptional herd of therapy horses
Volunteer coordination and training
Adaptive tack and equipment
Safe, well-maintained arenas, barns, and trails
The remaining 84% is made possible by donor support.
Halleck Creek Ranch receives no insurance reimbursement and no state or federal funding for our services. The Breaking Barriers Fund fills this gap so every rider can participate, no matter their financial means.
